Although our community is currently engaged in property renovations, we have apartments available for move in today! We have homes available under two income categories, Market Rate and Rental Assisted. See below regarding rental information and how to apply for either income program!
Rent Information and Income Qualifications (Rent Assisted Homes)
• Minimum Income Standard - Because these homes receive rental assistance via subsidy (your rent is largely paid by the local housing authority), there is no minimum income requirement for households that qualify for this program.
• Maximum Income Standard - This is based on the number of persons in the household, as per LIHTC guidelines. See below charts for the income programs a
available with the maximum gross household incomes allowed by household size.
• Rental Rates - As noted, rents for these homes are largely paid by the local housing authority. The rental rate for which the household is responsible will not exceed 30% of gross household income.
• Applying - We are currently accepting applications for our open waitlists (studio, one and two bedroom apartments). • All paper applications should be returned/mailed to our management office at 1990 Ford Drive or emailed to us at commodore@tcbinc.org. Online applications are preferred (see below link at bottom of page).
• All applicants must be determined eligible in accordance with the Department of HUD regulations and must meet the family size requirements for a designated bedroom size (maximum of 2 persons per bedroom; minimum of 1 person per bedroom preference) as well as maximum income of all family members.
• PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR POSITION ON THE WAITLIST MAY NOT BE DICTATED BY WHEN YOU SUBMITTED YOUR APPLICATION SINCE THOSE WITH A PREFERENCE WILL TAKE PRIORITY. IF NO PRIORITY APPLIES, APPLICATIONS ARE PROCESSED AND PLACED ON THE WAITLIST IN THE ORDER OF RECEIPT.

• Maximum Income Standard - There are NO maximum income requirements for these homes.

• Applying - We are currently accepting applications for our available homes (studio, one and two bedroom apartments).
